Rotten Week

It has been a rotten week here, culminating with today. My poor old lady had to go to the Vet again.
This visit was hard for her, they had to drain some fluid out of her abdomen. Poor thing looked like a pregnant horse, huge belly and skinny legs. They ended up taking 1200 cc out of her in hopes it make her breathe better, they could have taken more but she was getting stressed.
At her age it might just be time to let her go. I couldn't help but cry, I am still upset.
I brought her home in hopes that she will be comfortable and that everyone who wants to say goodbye will have a chance to.

I wish I had better news to report.

Lookie what hubby got me!!!

I am SO EXCITED!!!! I have been bugging' hubby to build me a spinning wheel for a while because I thought that the cost for a new one was out of my price range. Well I was poking around and found this for $150, 3 hours away.

I still thought that was a bit much for a present, but hubby said that if I used it that it would be my gift. Plus it was just easier and faster than building me one. Deal!!

When we got there the lady who was selling it, tossed in the carders for free!!!! She even printed out the instruction book for me so I wouldn't have to. AWESOME!!!!

I am so happy!! Not only will there be crochet stuff on my blog, now there will be some spinning too!!

Boy I have been slacking...

I'm still here. I have been super busy. I finally found a spinning wheel and have been working on a pick up time. Plus my newest project has been a bit time consuming. My bad.
